Building Inspector
The building inspector examines the construction, alteration, or repair of commercial and residential buildings to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances and safety and zoning regulations. The building inspector inspects the structural quality and general safety of buildings and makes an initial inspection during the first phase of construction and follow up inspections throughout the construction project to monitor compliance with the regulations.
